Prior to joining ACG Advocacy as Director of Operations in 2023, Chase served as Special Assistant for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee under Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI). During his Senate tenure, Chase also served as Assistant to the Chief of Staff & Administrative Aide for Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) where he was responsible for all aspects of the Senator’s and Chief’s travel, preparation, and participation in both official and campaign-side events. This came after having been jointly employed by the Senate Sergeant at Arms and Senate Republican Cloakroom to serve as a Senate Chamber Assistant upon graduating college.
Mr. Wagers was born and raised in West Liberty, Kentucky; a small farming and coal town in Eastern Kentucky. He was first inspired to apply to Georgetown by his peers in the Senate Page Program, and soon thereafter made DC his new home in 2016. He went on to graduate from Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Sciences in 2020, where he earned his degree in government with secondary focuses in history and psychology. He resides in Washington, DC with his partner, Taylor, and their black lab, Max.
