Preeti Turpuseema

Preeti Turpuseema joined ACG Advocacy in January 2020 and currently serves as Legislative Director. She has a broad policy portfolio, including healthcare, affordable housing, retail chains, and tax reform. As Legislative Director, Ms. Turpuseema leads the ACG research team, acting as a liaison between partners, senior associates, associates, research associates, and interns. She also represents clients in meetings on Capitol Hill and in Executive Agencies, tracks the status of legislation, hearings, and new or upcoming regulations, and identifies agency activities that may present opportunities for client engagement.

Before joining ACG, Ms. Turpuseema gained valuable experience in various health policy and management roles. As a Health Policy Fellow at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), she focused on policy issues such as non-opioid treatments in the Medicare population and program integrity. As an undergraduate, she interned at the Office of the Secretary at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where she observed policy on the Zika virus outbreak.

Ms. Turpuseema holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Policy from The George Washington University, where she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health.
