Housing

From the construction industry and home building to advocating for affordable housing programs, ACG is very active on issues affecting the housing industry. Specifically, ACG has experience advocating for the preservation and expansion of low-income housing tax credit allocation, and expanding access to capital and credit via housing finance reform and the National Housing Trust Fund. To advocate for these issues, ACG engages key stakeholders on Capitol Hill, the Administration, and regulatory agencies to both educate members and staff about the industry and to build key relationships. We have a long history of working closely with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the oversight Committee on Capitol Hill — the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee and House Financial Services Committee. Since many housing issues are tax-related, ACG actively engages the House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Finance Committee on these issues as well. ACG partners have over two decades of experience on housing issues.
